What are Q Drinks capsules made of?
Over 70% is coffee chaff — the dry skin that comes off the bean during roasting, a byproduct that would otherwise go to waste. The remaining 30% is an organic binder. No aluminium, no plastic.
Are compostable capsules really better for the environment?
Yes. Independent research by Wageningen Food & Biobased Research (2023) shows compostable capsules score 100% on the Material Circularity Indicator — the highest of all capsule types studied, with the lowest environmental impact.
Are all coffee capsules compostable?
It depends on the material. Q Drinks capsules are fully compostable and go straight in the organic waste bin after use. Aluminium capsules can't be composted and rely on dedicated collection that only around 29% of Dutch consumers use. Plastic capsules look recyclable, but nearly half never makes it through sorting and is incinerated. Plus, both plastic and aluminium capsules can't be recycled into new capsules. Do Q Drinks capsules fit my Nespresso machine?
Yes. Q Drinks capsules are 100% compatible with all Nespresso Original machines. No adapters needed.
Can I change, pause or cancel my subscription?
Yes, of course. You can skip, pause or cancel your subscription at any time, no questions asked. If your latest order has already shipped, the changes take effect right after.
Can I combine subscription items with one-time purchases?
